Specialist Screen Finishes

To add to our screen applied spot UV varnish, we also offer a number of specialist screen finishes. These all work in a similar way to spot UV but, by utilising different materials, we can provide solutions to a variety of projects.

Glitter UV varnish is common within the greeting card sector of the print industry, along with promotional / POS items. Instantly eye catching, it uses particles of glitter mixed with gloss UV varnish and is available in various sizes and colours.

Latex “scratch off” is used for security items, scratch cards and promotional products. Silver or gold in colour, latex is screen applied and removed with a coin or fingernail once cured. It is also suitable to be overprinted.

Re-moist gumming is perfect for direct mail campaigns or reply forms. Also known as horseshoe gumming or stencil gumming, the adhesive reacts to moisture similar to an envelope and provides a firm closure to specific areas where the gum appears.
